Among the stands we also ran into Iban Ubarretxena, President of the Eusko Etxea in New York, visiting with Iker Goñi, who came from the Basque Country but who lived in New York and worked closely with the club on its Centennial celebration two years ago. Sounds like Goñi might return to the city in which case the club will regain a valuable member.
