Burning "Juanito"

Burning "Juanito"

On San Juan, several Basque clubs lit fires, like the Euskal Sustraiak Basque Club in Trenque Lauquen, in Argentina, where an effigy called "Juanito" was burned. The flames burnts quickly and so did the doll and the letters written by the children, while the dantzaris for the local group, Akelarre, danced around the fire (photoTrenque Lauquen EE)
