2008 Basque Week in Santiago

The 2008 Basque Week of Chile coincided with Argentinian Basque Week, from the 29th of October to the 2nd of November. In the picture, the inauguration of the Basque Week: cutting the tape is Josu Legarreta, representative of the Basque Governement and holding the tape Jose Maria Narvarte, president of Euzko Etxeko of Santiago. The inauguration followed with an hommage to the sprout of the Tree of Gernika and a concert of the Basque Choir of Santiago. The week ended with a concert of Oskorri on Sunday afternoon.
