The Pau Euskal Etxea organized a conference dedicated to Antoine d'Abbadie, unknown scientist, philanthropist, linguist, explorer and Basque anthropologist of the 19th century who was, however, president of the French Academy of Sciences. Among his works is the publication "Grammatical studies on the Basque language", carried out together with Augustín Chaho. Paul Sabatier offered the conference in front of forty people. The afternoon ended with the songs by the men's choir and a good buffet (photo EE)
