San Nicolás, Argentina. The program to train Basque professors outside of the Basque Country will hold another summer Barnetegi, January 18-25 with 26 students who will begin studying to later teach Basque language classes in their respective clubs. The new Euskara Munduan group will begin at level one and will be comprised of representatives from clubs in Argentina, in many cases, from clubs that don’t currently have a Basque teacher.

Organizing the Barnetegi is Euzkal Etxea in San Nicolas, with classes being taught at the School #3 Fortunato Bonelli, meals and dinners will be provided at the Basque club allowing the future Basque teachers to visit the newly-remodeled facilities and “the best Basque family framework to guarantee an excellent stay for their visitors.”

The Euskara Munduan program is supported by the Etxepare Basque Institute and managed in Argentina by FEVA.  Its aim is to train teachers, provide teaching materials and subsidize Euskara classes for adults in Basque clubs.
