The course, “Business Development.  Lines of Management of the Mondragon Group,” will be part of International Week organized by the National University of Entre Rios, in Argentina, scheduled for March 27-31 at the College of Economic Sciences in Parana.  The University contacted the local Urrundik Basque Club to close the seminar with a Basque dance performance.

Parana, Argentina.   Following a Entre Rios-Mondragon university relationship that began in 2015, the National University in Entre Rios (UNER) will be visited next week by Dr. Jon Aldazabal Basauri, Doctor of Business Sciences and Masters in Administration.  This specialist will be in charge of teaching the post-graduate course, “Business Development.  Lines of Management of the Mondragon Group,” as part of the International Week Activities organized by the university.

Juan Carlos Borras, president of the Urrundik Basque Club in Parana explained that even if it is a course that will be taught at the university, everyone is invited to attend, especially specialists in this area, and anyone who is involved in cooperatives.  “This exchange began in 2015 between the National University in Entre Rios and Mondragon University, motivated, mainly, by the number of cooperatives that exist in this area.  This year, a group that included, among others, the dean and the academic secretary of UNER traveled to meet their counterparts in the Basque Country.  From that moment, a link was established and this is exactly why Dr. Jon Aldazabal Basauri is traveling to teach the seminar.”

“For us,” Borras continued, “it is very important to stress how close the club and the university are.  On this occasion, not only have they asked us to spread the news about the event to our members and friends, but they have also asked us to participate in the closing events with our dance group.”  The group of dantzaris will bid farewell to the visitor with a Basque dance performance on March 31st at 9pm.

The course, “Business Development.  Lines of Management of the Mondragon Group,” is a paid activity that will include an intensive mode.  It will run from Monday the 27th through Friday the 31st of March from 4-9pm, at the College of Economic Sciences, Urquiza 552, Paraná.  For more information, call the university 0343 4222172, ext. 18 or email them at: afrancisconi@fceco@uner.ar or ifinucci@fceco@uner.edu.ar.
