Lourdes, France. Denak Elgarrekin is the Basque association in Bigorre, in Gascony, that includes Basques who wish to maintain and transmit the Basque culture and feeling in the area of Lourdes.  As everyone else, they are also confined to their houses because of the Coronavirus. The association that is active all year long has a choir and a dance group that usually participates in the area when a Basque presence or cultural collaboration is required, although it has yet to register as a Basque club with the Basque Government.

It held its General Assembly in Lourdes in January and the board of directors is now comprised of:

- Co-presidents: Christelle Oxandabaratz and Evelyne Lonca
- Vice-presidents: Pierre Iribarne and Jacques Bascou
- Treasurer: Jean-Pierre Arla
- Secretaries: Monique Ibarrondo and Chantal Barrangou
- Directors: Maïté Urruty, Berthe Lardeux and Patrick Etchegoinberry
- Honorary President: Charles Etchepareborde

They are currently publishing a phrase or refrain on their Facebook page daily including its French translation, in this case translated into English.  Here are some of them:
