Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Official Bulletin of the Basque Country (BOPV-EHAA) included the Resolution dated April 2, 2020 yesterday from the Secretary General of Foreign Action “announcing aid for Basque clubs aimed to take care of the needs of those in dire need in Basque communities abroad in 2020.” The deadline to apply would normally begin today, and run through May 15th, however, a suspension and renewal of terms, is now in force due to the coronavirus. In this case, the deadlines will start to be calculated once the alert is lifted. The grant program’s budget is 202,000 Euros.
Recipients of this aid are people in situations of dire need and applications must come from Basque clubs, not the individuals themselves. Interested persons should get in touch with their Basque club or the one closest to them in order to start the process.
