During his tour through Argentina, and with the support of the Zazpirak Bat Basque club in Rosario, Bizkaian musician, Pascual Barturen, gave concerts in four cities. At each destination, the local Basque community had the opportunity to organize presentations that pleased not only their members, but also the rest of music lovers who attended them.

Rosario, Argentina.   As he did in 2013, the musician born in Bakio, also wanted to take advantage of his stay in Argentina to share his music with the local Basque communities.  That is why, with the invaluable collaboration of Luis Maria Barrandeguy, he organized a tour with stops in four cities between May 30 and June 14.

The concerts included two repertoires.  On the one hand he played romantic pieces like Requiem by A. W. Bach, Prelude by Fanny Mendelssohn, Preludio y FuPrelude and Fugue, by Clara Schumann; Choral Prelude 7º, by J. Brahms, and Entry by T. Dubois-en. To which he added some Basque works including two songs by T. Manzarraga, Offertory by José Luis Ibarzabal, Agur Jesús by Martín Gorostidi, Adoration by Manuel Mola, Offertory by Joaquín Broto and Gora ta gora Euzkadi by Tomás Aragüés.

The tour began in Pergamino, where he gave a recital on May 30 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, organized by Lagun Onak.  Following, on June 4, he played in Posadas, Misiones, thanks to the Euskal Jatorri Basque club.  There he played the organ at the cathedral.  Next on June 7, he played at the Parish of Saint Rose of Lima where he met a familiar group, having also played there in 2013.  Finally, on June 14th, he crossed the Parana River again to play in Gualeguaychu.
