More than 400 dantzaris and several hundred Basques, Basque descendants and friends of the Basque culture will once again gather for Semana Nacional Vasca from November 1-9 in La Plata.  As organizer of the mega-event the local Euzko Etxea has published the final program and promotional posters of the activities planned. 

La Plata, Argentina.  The final program for Semana Nacional 2014 includes culture, sporting, and gastronomic activities including the participation of renowned personalities on the local and international levels. The even will begin on Saturday, November 1 and as usual, the climax of the program will be Friday to Sunday, the days that include a political meeting (updated: cancelled) will be held with Aitor Esteban (PNV), Pello Urizar (EH Bildu), Paul Rios (Lokarri) and Mario Zubiaga (Gure esku dago); the Saturday gala with nearly 500 dancers, and Sunday’s banquet with everyone who participated in the festivities.
