Next week’s course on surnames and house names in Navarre will be available online via live streaming

An interesting proposal has come to us from the Chair of Basque Language and Culture at the University of Navarre, a course that is being offered both in person and online, on people's names, surnames and house names in Navarre. The course will be held on May 24-26th, and taught by experts in each area, with the support of the Government of Navarre and the local Government in Pamplona.  It's interesting, free and can be followed online.  If you are interested don’t miss this opportunity. 

Iruña-Pamplona.  The course has been organized by the Chair of Basque Language and Culture at the University of Navarre, with the support of the Government of Navarre and the local Government of Iruña-Pamplona.  The course about names, surnames and house names in Navarre is open and can be followed online via streaming.  It will physically take place in Pamplona and Lesaka.  Online it can be followed at the indicated times from here.

- This is a course is free and access is open. Sessions may be following live on the internet from here
-Secondary and High School Teachers participating in the course will receive an accreditation certificate for a total of 15 hours
-The Colleges of Philosophy and Humanities, Medicine, Communication, Science and Education and Psychology at the University of Navarre will award 1 credit for the course.  Interested students should attend all of the sessions and turn in a summary of the course to katedra@unav.es
-Anyone interested in obtaining a certificate of attendance should write to spaladino@unav.es. Equally, those who wish to attend the cultural visit to Lesaka must register at the same email before May 19, since spots on the bus are limited
