Winnemucca, NV, USA. Last Friday, Ander Caballero Barturen, to date Delegate of Euskadi in the United States, addressed officers and delegates of NABO at the 2018 convention meeting, via videoconference. His last intervention in this capacity as an official representative. On Tuesday, the Council of the Basque Government has accepted and made official his resignation, after serving in this capacity for just over five years, having been nominated in March of 2013.
In his words to the NABO delegates, he thanked everyone present, and through them, all the Basque club representatives, federation representatives, and the North American Basque community in general for what they offered him during his tenure. However, he added, that this is not a goodbye since he will remain in the country, as an active component of the Basque community as a member of the New England Basque Club where he serves as vice-president.
