It has been 12 years since Arrasate, in the Basque Country, and Sunchales, Argentina became sister cities

Sunchales, Argentina. Their history in relation to the cooperative movement united these two cities situated in Gipuzkoa and in the Argentine province of Santa Fe respectively.  Last Tuesday, February 26, marked 12 years since they became sister cities with the signing of the agreement in Arrasate, after previous visits and contacts in Sunchales, known in the region for its links to cooperatives.

The sister city agreements can be a good resource to deepen the relationship between people and communities in different countries that have points in common, and above all, the willingness, desire and the goal of empowering them and getting the most out of them. benefits, experiences and strengths that each of the municipalities see in the other, with an eye on sharing them for the mutual development and advancement of their citizens.
