Summer break is over and institutions dedicated to instruction are returning to their activities, including the Euskaltzaleak Basque School whose classes will begin again today in Buenos Aires. Housed on Bernardo de Irigoyen Street, Euskaltzaleak will once again offer plenty of options for those wishing to learn the Basque language. Basque isn’t all they teach; the euskaltegi also provides workshops on singing, music and Basque dance.

Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Teachers and students at Euskaltzaleak are getting ready to resume their places in the classrooms today on March 11, in a cycle that will run until November 30.  The premises are now fully adapted thanks to contributions of members and friends, and so classes will take place for the second year at the venue on Bernardo de Irigoyen Street in Buenos Aires.

This year’s offering is extensive and not only in regards to levels offered but also in regards to schedules.  According to the institution the following courses will be offered:

And even though Basque instruction is the main focus of the language school, it isn’t the only one.  This year cultural offerings at Euskaltzaleak will also include workshops on trikitixa, alboka and panderoa (this on Friday afternoons at 18:00), with choir practice (Wednesdays from 119:30-21:00pm) and dance class (Fridays from 19:21:00). There will also be cycles of film, lectures, get-togethers and celebrations.
