Dozens of invitations to celebrate the International Day of Euskera came in 2015 from the Basque Diaspora in Argentina.  The proposals, while diverse, all had one common goal: to celebrate the Basque language as it should be, highlighting its importance in a festive climate.  Following is a summary of the activities that took place on December 3 and on the days following.

Buenos Aires, Argentina.   As part of the 25th Anniversary of the Argentinan Euskaraz Program, Basque clubs across the country joined in the International Day of Euskera Festivities.  In some cases, with an activity on December 3, and on others with programs and events that took place over several days.  Whatever the case, during a year that is this important for the Basque language in Argentina, Basque was the star at the celebrations over the past few days.  If you don’t see information about your club’s events send them here.
