After performing “Komunikazioa-inkomunikazioa” (Communication-Lack of Communication) in Buenos Aires, the Company from Errenteria (Gipuzkoa) is now touring the interior of Argentine with another work, “Gelajauziak.”  The street show has already been seen in Tucuman, Jujuy and Salta, and will be staged tomorrow in Corrientes, to then move on to Resistencia, Parana, and Rosario, the last city on their tour.  Kukai, directed by Jon Maya, performs a fusion of contemporary dance mixed with traditional Basque steps.

“Communication – Lack of Communication”

Kukai was also in Buenos Aires on August 22-24, to present “Komunikazioa-inkomunikazioa,” at the Sarmiento Theater.  The show, inspired by Mikel Laboa’s perspective on the communication-in-communication dichotomy, was very well received by the audience and the local papers also published very positive reviews of the show.
