Basque classes are beginning in Argentina: for beginners, advanced and institutions that are joining the project

March began and with the imminent end of summer, teachers in Argentina are submerged in their Basque course organization for 2018.  All over the country, Basque clubs that provide classes at all levels, with multiple options including for clubs that don’t have instructors, the possibility of learning Euskera and about the culture of the Basque Country in online.  In the city of Olavarria, in the province of Buenos Aires, Basque will be taught for the first time at the Universidad Nacional del Centro.

Buenos Aires, Argentina.  March is here and as usual at this time of year, Argentine Basque clubs will open enrollment and have provided us their Euskera course schedule. There are various options, beginning and advanced courses, conversation and those that are more closely linked to culture.  The majority of classes are face-to-face, but don’t forget that you can also take classes online. Many Basque courses are available on HABE”s website and in Argentina a course on Euskera and the Basque Culture is also available thanks to Euskaltzaleak online with personalized tutoring also available. Following is a list of hours of classes, and over the coming weeks we will continue to publish information as we receive it.  If you club isn’t on the list, let us know so we can include it.

Gure Txokoa in Azul, beginning in April:

Continuation of advanced students. Dates and times TBD.

Euskaldunak Denak Bat in Arrecifes, beginning April 4th:

-2º level, Thursday 14:30hs
-3º level, Wednesday 15:30hs

Laurak Bat in Buenos Aires, beginning March 5th:

-2º level, Wednesday 18:30hs
-3º level, Monday 18:30hs

Euskaltzaleak in Buenos Aires, beginning in April:

-First level, Tuesday 18-21hs (B. de Irigoyen 826)
-First level, Tuesday 19-21hs (Iparraldeko Euskal Etxea-Centro Vasco Francés, Moreno 1370)
-First level, Tuesday 19-21hs (Belgrano)

College of Languages in Córdoba

-Beginners, Monday 17-20hs
-Intermediate, Tuesday 17-20hs
-Advanced, Wednesday 17-20hs

Euzko Etxea in La Plata:

-Advanced, Monday 17-19hs
-Txikis, Saturdays 17-19hs

The schedule for beginners and intermediates will be published next week

Gure Etxe Maitea in Olavarría along with UNICEN, Universidad Nacional del Centro:

-Beginners, biweekly, Friday 15-18hs

Chair of Basque Language and Culture at the University of Rosario:

-1º level, Thursday from 15-17hs
-2º level, Thursday from 13-15hs.

Introductory classes will begin on Thursday March 15, while the official beginning of the course will take place on April 5th.  Enrollment will take place in March at the office at Language Office at the College of Humanities, Entre Ríos 768, from 8-12hs.

Zazpirak Bat Basque Club in Rosario, Entre Ríos 261, beginning on March 3rd:

-1º level, Wednesday 19hs
-2º level, Saturday 18hs

Euzko Etxea in San Nicolás, beginning on March 9th:

-1º level Friday 17-19hs
-2º level Friday 19-21hs

Gure Etxea in Tandil:

-1º level, Tuesday 17hs
-2º level, Group A: Friday 17:30-20hs
-2º level, Group B: Tuesday 15-17hs and Thursday 15-16hs

-Advanced, Tuesday 20-21:30hs

Euzko Etxea in Villa María:

-2º level, Saturdays from 15-17:30hs
