An international conference will discuss the Basque presence in Mexico from the 16th-21st centuries this Thursday

The College of San Ignacio of Loyola, known as “Las Vizcainas,” will be the site this Thursday of an international conference that will discuss the Basque presence in Mexico, both a notable and influential one, from the 16th century to the present.  The conference was organized by the Historical Archive Jose Maria Basagoiti Noriega and the Bascongada Society of Friends of the Country in Mexico. 

Mexico City, Mexico.   The conference will take place at the Colegio de Las Vizcaínas with admission being free and open to the public.  It was organized by the Historical Archive of Jose Maria Basagoiti Noriega and Mexico’s Bascongada Society of Friends of the Country.  During the conference new members will be named of the latter.
