The official celebration of Aberri Eguna was on April 1st, a day where ceremonies took place in the Basque Country and the Diaspora.  Basque clubs and Basque institutions in Argentina also joined in the festivities on Easter Sunday, and others did so, and are doing so through April. In today’s article, we provide a photo album of the Day of the Basque Homeland 2018 with some of the images that have come to us.

Buenos Aires, Argentina.   From the Province of Rio Negro to Misiones; from the Andes to Cataratas…Aberri Eguna Festivities take place each year with various activities.  Some are better attended than others, some are more emotional, but all have the same goal: to commemorate the Day of the Basque Motherland.

Besides festivities held at various Basque clubs, others took place in plazas and churches with Basque institutions spreading the importance and significance of the events in the local and social media.
