Seattle, WA, USA. A group of members of the Seattle Euskal Etxea attended the screening, last Monday, of Handia as part of the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF).  They also greeted and accompanied Jon Garaño, the film’s co-director with Aitor Arregi. Garaño participated in the discussion following the film.  Monday’s screening of Handia, was followed by another on Tuesday, where the director returned to talk to spectators, and to answer their questions.

The film shot in the Basque language is receiving a very warm reception every place that it has been shown in the film festival circuit, as well as at Basque clubs that are also showing it.  On Tuesday, Handia was shown in the second phase of the festival, as well as at the Ateneo of Salto, Uruguay thanks to the local Saltoko Euskaldunen Taldea Basque Club.
