The workshops on music and dance took place at the Navarrese Center in Rosario February 3-10.  Dantzaris and musicians from Navarrese clubs in Mendoza, Bolivar and Buenos Aires joined locals, for a week learned, practices, and trained thanks to the five instructors from the Ortzadar group in Pamplona. 

Rosario, Argentina.   The Navarrese center in Rosario once again provided workshops in music and dance, after some years of not organizing them with groups and support from the provincial government. This year, with the support of the Government of Navarre, the club in Rosario was again the organizer and host of the folklore workshop by five members of the group Ortzadar Elkartea in Pamplona.  The workshops took place from February 3-10.

According to the club’s president, and president of the Federation of Navarrese Centers in Argentina, Raul Osvaldo Amatriain, a welcome for the youth took place on Saturday the 3^rd and classes began on Sunday the 4^th.  The workshop was divided into two parts; music classes, specifically in txistu, and the other was dedicated to dancing.

Meals and breaks also took place at the Navarrese club in Rosario.

In the words of Amatriain, “Hosting 35 people isn’t easy but we enjoy people visiting us and want them to feel at home, and so that is why we want to make sure everything is covered.”

The workshops concluded with a going away party for the instructors who returned to Pamplona.  On Saturday the 10^th, there was a music and dance show in the main hall where the youth could show club members and friends what they had learned.
