Tiburcio Sarratea passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at the age of 82 on January 26, 2022.

Born in Almandoz, Navarra, Spain, he immigrated to Northern Nevada in 1963 to herd sheep. He ultimately settled in the Reno area where he founded and operated Basque Gardeners for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. He is survived by his wife of nearly 51 years Jeanette, daughters Alicia Agrella (Kevin), Anamarie Lopetegui  (Mikel), four grandchildren Cody, Ashley, Kattalin and Andoni, five brothers and two sisters.

A celebration of life will be lehd on Saturday, February 12th at 11:00am at The Virgil, 391 Vassar Street, Reno.
