On August 28, 2019, Mrs. María Alicia Echaniz de Agotegaray passed away in Buenos Aires at the age of 99 years and 6 months.

She was spinner of the Basque Dance Group "ITXARKUNDIA" back in 1944 when this dance group began its activities.

She was also the godmother of the Baserri hall presented in front of the people of Arrecifes in 1947.

Daughter of Don Lucio Echaniz and Amalia; mother of María Alicia, Marilen and our vice president Juan Lucio Agotegaray.

Our lehendakari Laureano Villa Zabaleta and members of the Board of Directors greet their relatives and pray a prayer in her memory.
