A native of the Basque town of Ortzaize-Ossès, Jean Pierre Petrissans has passed away in California. He was a very active and well-known member of the Basque community. He married Catherine Petrissans (+ 2016) and they lived and ran in Los Banos the La Casa motel, first, and then the Bonanza restaurant. He was the father of three children: Sylvie (Jean Michel) Brust, Gilbert Petrissans, and George (Tiffany) Petrissans; and the grandfather of six: Maika, Antton, Mattin, Joey, Maiya, and Jack.
