How is the earth spinning when our world ceased to exist on March 24, 2022? Mom passed away doing what she loved, camping and riding at Glamis Sand Dunes, CA. It was a peaceful and unexpected passing, surrounded by our dad Craig, puppy Basco, her brother Bill and sister Marlene. We consider Bill and Mar to be godsends in our dad's time of need. There are no words that can adequately convey our gratitude and love.

Mom was born on September 6, 1946, to John and Marjorie Osoro. Mom was the third of six children. She grew up in Copperton and was a proud graduate of Bingham High School. Mom met our dad, Stephen Craig Holder in 1965, and they were married on February 12, 1966. Mom and Dad raised three kids, Shelli, Mike, and Jeff in Copperton until 1980 when we moved to Granger. After working various jobs, Mom decided to further her education and became a medical assistant. She worked at the University of Utah Health Clinic for many years. Mom loved her job because she had an extremely caring nature, which would come to be apparent later on. When her parents became ill later in their lives, Mom was such an amazing caregiver to them. She lost a little piece of her heart with each passing. Mom was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, dog-mom, sister, sister-in-law, daughter, aunt and friend. But her most significant role was as grandmother. Mom did not like being the center of attention, but she was the light at every family gathering. Always fussing and making sure everyone had everything they needed. She loved everyone she met as if they were her own family. Our Mom loved camping, boating, riding side by sides, the Utah Jazz, and NASCAR. When Mike started racing at Rocky Mountain, she would never miss a race. She was an important part of the pit crew. Let's not forget to mention the deep dark tan she had year-round, that we were always jealous of. (She had Basque blood running through her veins). Mom loved and adored her family with every fiber of her being, and she had the most amazing bond with her grand-kids. There was never a time that she did not tell each of us how proud she was of us, how much she loved us, and how much she cherished us. Mom's spunk and energy made us think she would outlive us all. She truly is one of the most admirable human beings put on this earth.

Our dad is going to love and miss his "co-pilot", his "Poopsie" and his soulmate until the end of time. We truly have a hole in our hearts, but are so blessed to have had such an amazing, loving, beautiful woman in our lives. She will be missed and loved by all of us.

Mom is survived by her husband, our Dad, Craig. Daughter: Michelle Branch (Paul), Son: Michael (Gina), Son: Jeffrey (Pauline), and Pauline's son Ben. Grand-kids Taylor (Skyler) Carrick, Jordan Branch, Marcus (Kenadee) Holder and Logan Holder are her pride and joy. We can't forget about their puppy Basco. She is also survived by brothers: Jon (Karol), Bill (Mar), Jerry (Debbie), sister Jeanie (Mike) Johnson, brothers-in-law: Denny, Dale (Kathy), sister-in-law Toni (John) Butterfield, many nieces and nephews, and her very dear friend SuzAnne Eggertz, who all loved her dearly. Mom is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws: Barbara and Dee Holder, granddaughter Brianna Branch, nephews Ryan Osoro, Wyatt Butterfield, niece Kellie Holder, big brother Barry Osoro, and his wife Laura Osoro.

We know there was a party in heaven when she left us, and we are sure there is a mad game of gin rummy being played up there. We gained the most beautiful angel, and it brings us great comfort knowing that she will always be watching over us. Salute Mom!

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and shown love and support to us all.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Goian Bego (GB) - May she Rest in Peace
