Santiago, Chile. Just a few weeks ago “Berriketari,” published issue 101.  The newsletter is the official voice of the Euzko Etxea in Santiago and its latest installment included its usual text and photo review of the Center’s latest activities: the Aberri Eguna celebration and the Anniversary of the Bombing of Gernika, as well as the day dedicated to Korrika 21.  It also dedicated an important section to the Basque pilota, and especially Basque language instruction to txikis at the Euskal etxea.

In this way, the newsletter begins a new hundred in which it thanks new technologies for the addition of readers in Europe, “From Spain, France, Euskadi, Catalonia, Italy, Germany, England…, in America from the US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba, Uruguay, Argentina…: as well as in countries like Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and China,” to mention a few.

Directed by the current club president, Ignacio Bastarrica, and with Maria Angelica Carrasco in charge of editing, “Berriketari,” can be read here: https://berriketari.blogspot.com/ as well as on their Facebook page: Euzko Etxea de Santiago.
