Necochea, Argentina. The Euzko Etxea Basketball program welcomed the experienced coach of the national league, Javier Bianchelli, on Saturday July 27th. During the entire day, Bianchelli worked with the Basque club players, as well as those from other invited clubs, including the women’s team from the Rivadavia Club and the Villa del Parque Club in Necochea, as well as the Kimberley and Sporting clubs from Mar del Plata. The clinic was for players in the U13 and U21 categories and the program was divided according to positions on the court. In the morning, offensive techniques were practices while defense was addressed in the afternoon.
It is worth mentioning for the Euskal Etxea that young Basque club coaches Santiago Cuñado, Agostina Benitez (former club dancer), Gaston Galassi and Tomas Cuello also collaborated with Bianchelli at the workshop. Everyone was very happy with the result, organizers and athletes alike.
With this event, the Euzko Etxea has added another activity to the large list of prepared for the coming year, in all categories, with both male and female teams. Remember that at the beginning of July a delegation from the club participated in the Super8 that took place in the city of Colon.
