Boise, Idaho, USA. In the NABO weekly newsletter, Astero, they mentioned that the federation that is comprised of Basque clubs and associations in North America will not publish its traditional wall calendar this year. As such, and to fill the void in many Basque homes all over the country, the Basque Museum and Cultural Center in Boise has created its own, so that the tradition isn’t lost. This calendar can be consulted daily, and become part of the day-to-day life of Basques in the US Diaspora.

In this special situation caused by the pandemic, it is evident that we cannot get together as in other years at celebrations, meetings and other Basque events, and that dates cannot be announced ahead of time due to the protocols in place due to the pandemic.  Even so, this new calendar provides an important service to the Basque community, while providing some income to the Basque Museum.

The calendars sell for $9.99 and they can be shipped in the US as well as abroad.  You can buy yours by clicking on this link.  In the same way, if you click on the calendar you can enlarge the image ad you will be better able to see its design.
