Neuquén, Argentina. “Baskos of the Confluence,” closed out the month of May with good news to share with the community. The club, one of the institutions that gathers the Basque community in the area of the Confluence, between the provinces of Neuquen and Rio Negro, was accepted as an active member of FEVA, the Basque Argentina Basque Federation at its last meeting, and also found permanent headquarters.  The recognition by the Federation was announced on May 11th at the FEVA meeting attended by club members.

In regards to the clubhouse, “Baskos of the Confluence” said that the club gathers members from Neuquen, Ciplooetti and also from Plottier and had rented a hall in the latter to conduct business.  “The locale is part of a club and we have invested money to paint it and equip it and give it 10 points.  It also has  window that gives to the pilota cancha, so we have also signed an agreement for its use,” according to the young Basque club.
