Vitoria-Gasteiz. Official events at the Lehendakaritza (Basque President's Government Offices) and the Basque Parliament closed the program of the 7th World Congress of Basque Collectivities Abroad Friday morning. Presentations were made by Gorka Alvarez Aranburu, Director of the Basque Community Abroad, Marian Elorza, Secretary General of Foreign Action; and Lehendakari Urkullu officially closing the gathering.

Attending the official event were Congress delegates and guests, as well as the 15 participants in Gaztemundu 2019. Besides the Ikurriña, the flags of the various countries and delegations attending were also displayed: Germany, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, El Salvador, France, Japan, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, the UK, USA, Uruguay and Venezuela.
